“Veneno” is the Spanish word for “venom” hence describing Veneno’s infectious music. Veneno is a family of musicians brought together through fate and time. Brothers and sisters united in a search for their musical dream, traveling the world arousing fans with their music.
Born out of musical diversity, each member of Veneno brings with them their own unique musical childhood. The musically telepathic Cesar Marin and Steve Marin, Australians of Chilean descent. Martin Farrugia, Australian born of Maltese heritage. Carlos Velazquez, raised in Australia via South America and Michael Raper from the land of Oz.
Unchained by musical boundaries and swimming freely through genres within their shows, Veneno cannot be labelled. It is this which makes their performances a blistering ride through afro-latin rhythms, hip-hop ferocity, trance like drum and bass, head-banging funk, driven ska and playful reggae.
As their crowd grows bigger, Veneno are packing out venues and moving into major festivals where they continue to unleash their talents.
The past three years have seen Veneno teaming up with such stage heavyweights as Osvaldo Chacon (Cuba) and Mystro (UK), and now with the mighty Carlos Velazquez at the front of the stage Veneno are at the forefront of entertainment in action-packed Macao. With universal beats and lyrics that capture the times, these extraordinary musicians create a pulse in the hearts of all music lovers, travelling the planet arousing fans with their amazing music and live performances.
