Since the inaugural festival in 2006, the Sydney Latin American Film
Festival (SLAFF) has been dedicated to supporting grassroots community
development in Latin America & Australia through the SLAFF
Community Support Program, and this year is no exception!
Through this program, the majority of funds raised from all ticket
sales at the 5th Sydney Latin American Film Festival will be donated to
a variety of social development initiatives in Latin America &
Australia.
Since 2006, SLAFF and the people of Sydney, have already supported
twelve Latin American community organizations by giving almost $50,000
worth of grants.
In 2010 SLAFF has proudly awarded grants to four more organizations who
undertake their commitment to Latin American community development with
enormous amounts of dedication and compassion.
