Blak Mama

A wildly surreal extravaganza of imagery, inspired by the traditional Ecuadorian celebration of "La Mama Negra"

Three paper recyclers - Blak, his mistress Bambola and their friend I Don Dance - squat in an abandoned terrace in the outskirts of an Andean city. One night, two fantastic beings, Exterminating Angel and Moon Captain, guide the recyclers to The Door of Forgiveness where they pay tribute to an enigmatic female deity - the Virgin Wolf. The recyclers undergo an initiation and a series of mysterious transformations on a journey that takes many unexpected twists and turns.
