The Sydney Latin American Film Festival 100% not for profit festival showcasing Latin American film and culture and supporting community programs in Central and South America. The Festival is driven entirely by a group of dedicated volunteers and all proceeds of the Festival go to community projects in Latin America.

2010 - A record fundraising year!
SLAFF ran a number of large fund-raising events last year including the annual Film Festival, raising a record amount of $32000 for our Community Support Program (CSP). Thanks to your collective support this represents a 50% increase from the previous year! The recipients of the 2010 CSP were Eclipse Parcial Expresiones Culturales (El Salvador), Wichi Community Centre (Argentina) and Atillka Bibliotecas Populares (Bolivia). Sydney's own Casa Latinoamericana received a donation of $2000 to help re-establish the Latin American cultural centre in the heart of Marrickville.
