The Instituto Cervantes is the institution created by Spain in 1991. It is the largest institution in the world dedicated to teaching Spanish- and to foster the cultures of Spanish-speaking countries. The Instituto Cervantes in Sydney is located in the academic and cultural area of the city, just opposite to the University of Sydney, and just 100 metres away from Seymour Cultural Centre.
