Jeremías is a clever and inquisitive boy who has learnt to accept life as an outsider. He spends his time trying to figure out what he wants to be when he grows up: a rock n roll superstar, unbeatable chess champion or brilliant mathematician. As Jeremías navigates the adult world, he comes to realise what he wants to be is a lot easier than he thought.

Virtuoso Mexican harpist, a walking encyclopaedia of Latin music past and present who has redefined the harp as a solo and lead instrument in a multitude of musical contexts. He’s played with everyone from Angus & Julia Stone and Los Lobos to Jimmy Barnes, and appeared on folk, world music, rock and blues festival stages Australia-wide.

Director: Anwar Safa

Anwar began his career writing and shooting identity ads for music channel Telehit, as well as for various renowned brands. In 2007 he founded his production company, Terregal Films, through which he has directed and produced music videos and short films, distinguished by his short film La Gordiranfla. Jeremy is his first feature film as a director.
