Since the beginning of time, man has had to survive other men.

The small town of El Amparo near the Colombian-Venezuelan border is shaken when two fishermen return home from a trip in which 14 other men were killed by military gunfire. Accused of being guerrilla fighters, they maintain their innocence despite mounting pressure from officials.

Feature Director BIO – Rober Calzadilla

Rober Calzadilla is an actor, screenwriter and director. He trained at the Juana Sujo School of Performing Arts and the Central University of Venezuela School of the Arts. His directorial credits include the mid-length El país de abril (2013) and his debut feature El Amparo (2016).
